Tattoo Machine Promo
A self promo featuring a homemade tattoo machine, plus other materials and ephemera. This was a big hit amongst receivers, often getting the in-house tattoo expert to test it out. Which, of course it totally worked. This got me lots of attention and is a great example of the kind of thing that gets you remembered.
ROBot Promo
Straight form outerspace to the recipient's desk. This promo for a software company got past the gatekeepers and straight to the recipient because of the unique packaging. Once received, it has too much "value" to throw away, so they kept it around, which meant the software company had a constant presence in the office and mind of their target customer.
Holiday Promo
"Christmas Punch" was a successful holiday promotion that won awards but most importantly stayed in minds and liqour cabients for years. Bottles of moonshine, hand-dipped in wax and shipped in unique shipping tubes.
